Leadership is a major programmatic focus at Brewster.
Our intentional curriculum implores our students at all levels to develop their leadership acumen. While students will have opportunities to work on their leadership skills within our academic and co-curricular programs, our signature John Brewster Leadership Program (JBLP) enables students to dedicate themselves to a cause greater than themselves. JBLP students facilitate student orientation at the beginning of the school year, serve as mentors to younger students during the academic year, and plan calendar events like spirit days and assemblies.
JBLP students in our Middle and Upper school divisions also have the opportunity to travel to the U.S. to visit Brewster’s Wolfeboro campus during the summer and collaborate with other students in the network throughout the school year. We believe such experiences are essential for students to develop into the very best they can be, therefore becoming a JBLP student is open to every student who maintains our high standards of scholarship and character.
Not only do they perform countless service tasks around the school, they are also committed to making positive change in their community.
